  • Paper and cardboard

Paper and cardboard

What belongs here:
• Newspapers, magazines (there is no need to remove metal staples)
• Exercise books, paperback books and books without coated spines
• Cardboard boxes (flattened), paper wrapping (e.g. wrappers from flour, sugar, salt etc.)
• Boxes from tea and other foods
• Office paper

What doesn't belong here:
• Greasy and other very dirty paper (for example, greasy from food, dirty from painting etc.)
• Magazines with plastic covers (you can, of course, remove these covers and put only the paper magazine pages into the container)
• Egg cartons, toilet paper or kitchen towel rolls - these are examples of the final stage of processing paper that has already been recycled; the fibre is too short and can no longer be used in further production.
• Used paper tissues, towels, napkins, tampons, nappies
• Multi-layer packages (drinks cartons)
• Carbon paper (carbon copy paper), waxed paper (beakers) and tar paper

Where should I put it?
There is a special blue container in which you should place separated paper and cardboard. These containers are available to the general public in various publicly accessible places. Other individuals (engaging in business) and legal entities may use the services which our company offers; we are able to directly provide a waste container depending on the amount of separated material. This type of waste can also be handed in at our collection yard free of charge. You should never put any extra waste beside waste containers (i.e. any waste that is too big to fit into the container).
